According to a recent article by AZCoin News, Arbitrum developers have announced the airdrop and have also outlined the protocol’s upcoming plans to transition to a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). This development has attracted a lot of attention from the cryptocurrency community and has been hailed as a major milestone in the evolution of blockchain technology.
Arbitrum is a second-layer scaling solution for Ethereum that allows developers to build faster, cheaper, and more scalable decentralized applications. The platform has been gaining popularity in recent months due to its high transaction speeds and low gas fees, which have made it a popular choice for many developers and users alike.
As part of its efforts to further grow its user base and increase adoption, Arbitrum plans to airdrop 12.75% of the total coins to users next Thursday. The developers have created a special points system that takes into account various metrics to determine how much airdrop each user gets.
Arbitrum is currently the fourth-largest network in terms of TVL (Total Value Locked) with a total value of $1.77 billion, behind Ethereum, Tron (TRX), and BNB Smart Chain, according to DefiLlama. This demonstrates the growing popularity of the platform and its potential to compete with some of the biggest names in the blockchain space.

The decision by these five major exchanges to list the ARB airdrop is a major development for the cryptocurrency and is likely to further increase its popularity and adoption. As more users and developers become aware of the benefits of the Arbitrum platform, it is expected that its TVL and overall market capitalization will continue to grow in the coming months.
