Anonymous whales have shifted over 90 million DOGE over the past several hours

Several crypto whales have transferred more than 90 million DOGE or $15,562,406 in fiat in the past eight hours. Meanwhile, a large ETH whale purchased a large amount of Polygon (MATIC), and Binance transferred double that purchase to an anonymous address.

90.3 million DOGE on the go

Whales made fourteen major transactions, carrying over $15.5 million in the largest meme cryptocurrency. The largest transaction carried 15,499,637 for a total of $2,684,336. The amount of Doge made by other transfers varies from 1 to 5 and 8 million DOGE.

The biggest transaction fee here is sending those as mentioned above 15.5 million Doge – and so the fee comes to 103.37 Doge or $17.90. Today’s lowest fee is 0.014 DOGE ($0.002). For other money transfers, the transaction fee does not exceed $1.5, mostly keeping less than $0.50 for a transfer.

At this writing, the largest meme cryptocurrency is changing hands at $0.1723. On January 2, the coin rallied to a high of $0.176 but did not hold there for long, falling to $0.1715 earlier today.

According to WhaleStats and Whale Alert, two transactions carrying large amounts of MATIC have been performed by crypto whales in the past day. One of them has been identified by WhaleStats – it is the “Light” wallet, the top 4 holders on the platform’s scale. They bought 1,337,000 MATIC tokens worth $3,315,760.

Another transfer was made from the Binance exchange to an anonymous crypto wallet. 2,614,308 was deposited in this transaction – equivalent to $6,738,727.
