Andrew Yan from SAIF Partners has been holding Bitcoin since 2015, reveals why Warren Buffett remains anti-BTC
According to 8BTC News, Andrew Yan, the founder, and managing partner of Chinese private equity firm SAIF Partners revealed that he has been buying Bitcoin since 2015. And until now, he has hodl it ever since.

Buying BTC since 2015 and not selling any coins proves that they have been holding Bitcoin for six years now. So, he reckons that BTC is worth way more than gold. However, he pointed out that Bitcoin is only for the rich and knowledgeable.

He has also shared a few tips about BTC, in particular claiming to know why Warren Buffett (head of the Berkshire Hathaway fund) remains anti-Bitcoin.
Yan stated:
“Investing in Bitcoin is only for the rich and the knowledgeable. Bitcoin is worth a lot more than gold. Investing in Bitcoin is better than buying gold, it’s an asset allocation strategy.”
Yan said that he does not understand why Buffett does not buy BTC. Maybe the billionaire doesn’t understand it.
Finally, he does not advocate or encourage other people to hype up this industry:
“I do not advocate or encourage others to hype up this industry, which requires people of faith to participate in.”
SAIF currently manages nearly 6 billion RMB and $ 4 billion of investment funds.
