Analyst Jay Freed expects these new GameFi projects to follow Axie Infinity’s parabolic growth

High-profile trader Jay Freed unveils with his subscribers 5 play-to-earn crypto projects with strong fundamentals and attractive characteristics that are deemed to explode.

Star Atlas (ATLAS)

First on the list is Star Atlas (ATLAS), a Solana-based next-gen gaming metaverse. According to the analyst, the project provides a AAA gaming experience in the blockchain landscape.

“This could be a good opportunity to get in on the first NFT game project on Solana.”

Similar to Axie Infinity, there will be an ATLAS token for the in-game currency and a POLIS token for protocol governance. These will enable players to trade NFT-based in-game items and characters, abundant deep space resources, and virtual real estate.

Cardano Warriors

Cardano Warriors is a new gaming project on Cardano that has not been launched yet. The project is based on the idea of making a real difference in the Nonfungible Token projects scenery during the early Cardano Network stages.

In terms of the game narrative, the analyst unveils that the content of Cardano Warriors focuses its plot on its floating islands:

“It was designed to allow developers to introduce new episodes, improving the continuation of the game and the player’s interaction, broadening their experience, especially for more entertainment, far beyond the proposal of rewards, and adding business value to the community.”

Aavegotchi (GHST)

Aavegotchi is a DeFi-enabled crypto-collectibles game developed that allows players to stake Non-fungible tokens avatars with interest-generating tokens and interact with the Aavegotchi metaverse. As the trader says, it is a unique combination of Decentralized Finance and NFTs.

GHST is a DAO governed token sale of the network, which means that the funds raised are managed by the community.

According to Jay Freed, the uniqueness of Aavegotchi is that the use of Gotchis goes beyond NFTs and game collectibles, as Gotchis can be used as collateral as well:

“By posting collateral, players can also earn interest that is visible in real-time. Aside from earning interest, users can also earn GHST rewards. The network generates income from the market of collectibles and wearables, and from minigame fees.”

Polkafantasy (XP)

PolkaFantasy is the world’s first NFT cross-chain marketplace platform on Polkadot dedicated to Japanese animations, designed for talented Japanese character creators and artists.

As the analyst says, the competitive advantage of Polkafantasy is that it has a huge supporting community of Japanese anime worldwide. Besides, it also has XP, the network utility toke which offers a vast range of functions and benefits in and out of the game itself, forming a holistic ecosystem.

“Cost-saving is a great benefit XP offers, that you can access valuable discounts when purchasing with XP over other tokens. In the meantime, XP holders can get priority access to exclusive pre-sales and valuable discounts.”

Splinterlands (SPS)

Splinterlands provides a platform for card lovers to play, trade and earn in-game rewards from their desktop and mobile phones on a daily basis. The game currently offers 283 cards that players can combine to increase their character abilities and become stronger.

Meanwhile, SPS is a cryptocurrency governance token that works as the primary currency in the Splinterlands card trading game. The main purposes of SPS include decision-making ability and control over stakeholders, asset owners and player-base.

“Unlike most NFT games on the market, Splinterlands offers the feature of cross-compatibility with other blockchains including Tron, Ethereum and WAX.”

Besides, the analyst also points out that Splinterlands has its own blockchain, which provides in-game stability and frequent upgrades to the card trading game.
