A Dubai-based cafe is the latest business in the city to accept Shiba Inu as payment method
Bake N More, a cafe based in Dubai, is the latest business in the city to accept Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies as payment via the Mixin Network. This modern cafe’s open-source payment platform allows customers to pay for their purchases with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, SHIB, and Dogecoin (DOGE).

Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies now accepted for payment at Dubai-based cafe
SlingTV, American Cancer Society, Newegg, Menufy, Carolina Hurricanes, and Twitch are among the significant companies accepting SHIB via BitPay. BitPay will officially start supporting Shiba Inu at the end of 2021, allowing SHIB spending at hundreds of BitPay merchants where Shiba Inu is accepted.
Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies supported by BitPay are also accepted for payment by Vancouver-based MeatmeCA. SHIB won in a recent tournament organized by leading crypto payment processing company BitPay. “BitPpay Brackets” was organized to find out which cryptocurrency was “about to explode.”
The contest consists of four rounds with 16 coins, such as BNB Chain (BNB), Cardano, Solana, Polkadot, Dogecoin, and other altcoins, divided into a set of brackets. The crypto community had to choose its favorite cryptocurrency from a specific pair in each stage of the tournament by voting with the help of a specific form. In the first three rounds, Shiba Inu prevailed against Terra, Solana, and Cardano.
Shiba Inu might also be set to roll out some significant projects in the coming days. In recent updates shared by Shiba Inu developer Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB: The Metaverse lands might become available ”really soon.” Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer 2 solution, has been under development for quite some time. However, one of the developers, @kaaldhairya, stated that the Layer 2 solution is moving to the next development phase.
Shibarium, the Layer 2 on which SHIB: Metaverse will be developed, is said to be in the Alpha phase and may soon move into the Beta phase. According to @shibainuart, ”The SHIB Burn portal is entering final stages and will have rewards earning abilities.”
